Dr. Karaikatte hails from the southern part of India and before getting any further she wants you to know that she still hasn’t forgiven her parents for her last name.

All her patients lovingly call her Dr. K. She completed school and graduated from her dental program in 2008. She was the first in her family to choose dentistry and moved on to complete her internship right after and got into a general dentistry practice in 2010.

She met the love of her life while he was on a vacation to India and they got married and moved to Canada for their happily ever after. Dr. K realized the road to practicing dentistry was going to be a highly competitive, grueling long process. She completed all her selection process and managed to get into her dream school University of Toronto and graduated with a DDS in 2014. She has been practicing in Calgary ever since and calls it home with pride.
